Hadith 7369
عَنْ وَحْشِيِّ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا نَأْكُلُ وَمَا نَشْبَعُ قَالَ فَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَأْكُلُونَ مُتَفَرِّقِينَ اجْتَمِعُوا عَلَى طَعَامِكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى يُبَارَكْ لَكُمْ فِيهِ
Wahshi bin Harb narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather, that a man said to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): We eat food, but we do not feel satisfied. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Perhaps you eat separately. Eat together and mention the name of Allah over it; there will be blessing for you.
Hadith 7370
عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامُ الْوَاحِدِ يَكْفِي الْاثْنَيْنِ وَطَعَامُ الْاثْنَيْنِ يَكْفِي لِأَرْبَعَةٍ وَطَعَامُ الْأَرْبَعَةِ يَكْفِي الثَّمَانِيَةَ
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The food of one person is enough for two, the food of two is enough for four, and the food of four is enough for eight.
Hadith 7371
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this manner.
