The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) then said: Hand me its other foreleg as well. I handed him the other foreleg. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) then said: Give me another foreleg. I said: O Messenger of Allah! A goat has only two forelegs. Hearing this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: If you had remained silent, you would have continued handing me forelegs as long as you remained silent. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) called for water, rinsed his blessed mouth with it, washed his fingers, then stood up and performed prayer. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) returned and found cold meat with us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) ate from it, then entered the mosque and performed another prayer, and did not touch water with his hand.
