Hadith 7325
Sayyiduna Hilb Tai (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and a man had asked him: “There is a food from which I feel tightness in my heart.” In another narration, it is mentioned: He said, “I asked you about the food of the Christians.” So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “There should be no doubt in your chest about such food in which there is resemblance to Christianity.”
Hadith 7326
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I said, “O Messenger of Allah! My father Hatim Tai used to maintain ties of kinship and did many good deeds?” But you (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Indeed, your father attained what he intended by his actions.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant fame and show. I said: “Alright, I ask you about such food which I leave only due to doubt and hesitation?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Then do not leave such a thing in which there is resemblance to Christianity.”
Hadith 7327
Syedna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that during a battle, cheese was presented before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace be upon him) asked: "Where was this prepared?" They said: "It was prepared in the region of Persia, and we think that carrion meat is added to it." He (peace be upon him) said: "Cut it with a knife and eat it after reciting Bismillah." The second time when Shareek narrated this, he added: "People began to cut it with the sharp edge of their staffs."
