1 بَابُ إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الْحَامِلِ بِوَضْعِ الْحَمَلِ سَوَاءٌ كَانَتْ مُطَلَّقَةٌ أَوْ مُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا لِقَوْلِ اللهِ: «وَالاتُ الاحمَالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ حَمَلَهُنَّ»

Chapter: The Waiting Period for a Pregnant Woman Is Until Delivery, Whether Divorced or Widowed, According to Allah's Saying: "And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they deliver"

2 بَابُ عِدَّةِ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا إِذَا كَانَتْ غَيْرُ حَامِل أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا لِقَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: «وَالَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنْكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَاجًا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنْفُسِهِنَّ رْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا»

Chapter: The Waiting Period for a Widow Who Is Not Pregnant Is Four Months and Ten Days, According to Allah's Saying: "And those of you who die and leave wives behind, they shall wait by themselves for four months and ten days"
