Hadith 7206
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) gave the verdict regarding the son of the woman involved in li‘an that he should not be called by reference to his father, and that whoever accuses this woman or her children should be subjected to the punishment for slander. Furthermore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) also ordered that the husband of this woman is not responsible for her maintenance or accommodation, because the separation between them is not due to divorce or the husband's death, but for another reason.
Hadith 7207
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a man performed li'an with his wife and also denied his relation to her child. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) separated them and attributed the child to the woman.

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) gave the verdict regarding the child of a couple who performed li'an (mutual cursing) that such a child will inherit from his mother and the mother will inherit from the child. Whoever, after li'an, accuses the woman or her child, will be given eighty (80) lashes.
