Sayyida Asma bint Yazid Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not kill your children secretly; indeed, ghilah affects the horseman and causes him to fall headlong.
Sayyidah Judamah bint Wahb Asadiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I intended to prohibit ghilah, but then I remembered that the Persians and Romans practice ghilah and it does not harm their children in any way.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him): A man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I practice coitus interruptus with my wife. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Why? He said: Out of compassion for her children. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If that is the case, then surely do not practice coitus interruptus, for this thing has not harmed Persia and Rome in any way.
