Hadith 6902
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent her a marriage proposal. She said: O Messenger of Allah! My guardians are present. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of your guardians would dislike this marriage, whether he is present or absent. Upon hearing this, Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) said to her son: O ‘Umar! Marry me to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So he married her to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
