بَابُ بَعْضٍ مَا جَاءَ فِي تَحْرِيمِ الْخَمْرِ وَلَعْنِ شَارِبِهَا وحرمانه مِنْ خَمْرٍ الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا أَن يَتُوبَ
Chapter: Some of What Has Been Reported Regarding the Prohibition of Alcohol, Cursing Its Drinker, and His Deprivation from the Wine of the Hereafter Unless He Repents
Hadith 6770
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْخَمْرَ وَالْمَيْسِرَ وَالْكُوبَةَ وَقَالَ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah Almighty has declared wine, gambling, and nard (or chess or musical instruments) unlawful for you. Also, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every intoxicating thing is unlawful.
Hadith 6771
وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَعَنَ الْخَمْرَ وَعَاصِرَهَا وَمُعْتَصِرَهَا وَشَارِبَهَا وَحَامِلَهَا وَالْمَحْمُولَةَ إِلَيْهِ وَبَائِعَهَا وَمُبْتَاعَهَا وَسَاقِيهَا وَمُسْتَقِيهَا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me and said: O Muhammad! Indeed, Allah Almighty has cursed regarding wine: the wine itself, the one who squeezes it, the one for whom it is squeezed, the one who drinks it, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who serves it, and the one who demands it to be served.
Hadith 6772
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَشْرَبْهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَتُوبَ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever drinks wine in this world will not drink it in the Hereafter, unless he repents.
