باب النَّهْيِ عَنِ الْخَلْوَةِ بِالْمَرْأَةِ الاجنبية
Chapter: Prohibition of Being Alone with a Non-Mahram Woman
Hadith 6668
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَخْلُوَنَّ بِامْرَأَةٍ لَيْسَ مَعَهَا ذُو مَحْرَمٍ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّ ثَالِثَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not be alone with a woman who does not have her mahram present, for the third among them will be the devil.
Hadith 6669
عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا لَا يَخْلُوَنَّ رَجُلٌ بِامْرَأَةٍ لَا تَحِلُّ لَهُ فَإِنَّ ثَالِثَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَّا مَحْرَمٌ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ مَعَ الْوَاحِدِ وَهُوَ مِنَ الْاثْنَيْنِ أَبْعَدُ مَنْ سَاءَتْهُ سَيِّئَتُهُ وَسَرَّتْهُ حَسَنَتُهُ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Amir bin Rabi‘ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Beware! No man should ever be alone with a woman who is not lawful for him, because the third one present is the devil, except in the case of a mahram. The devil is with one person and stays away from more than two. And whoever finds evil to be evil and good to be good, then he is a believer.
Hadith 6670
عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَخْلُوَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِامْرَأَةٍ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ ثَالِثُهَا وَمَنْ سَرَّتْهُ حَسَنَتُهُ وَسَاءَتْهُ سَيِّئَتُهُ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ
Narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Never should any man be alone with a woman, for the third among them is the devil. And whoever finds goodness pleasing and evil displeasing to him, then he is a believer.
Hadith 6671
عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالدُّخُولَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَرَأَيْتَ الْحَمْوَ قَالَ الْحَمْوُ الْمَوْتُ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Beware especially of entering upon women. An Ansari said: O Messenger of Allah! What is your opinion about the brother-in-law? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The brother-in-law is death.
