Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever keeps a dog that is neither for hunting nor for guarding livestock, then every day two qirats are deducted from his reward.
