It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a person sees the truth, or is present upon it, or hears it, then the awe of people should not prevent him from stating the truth. Abu Sa'id said: I wish I had not heard this hadith.

Narrated by Sayyiduna Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not tell you who is the best witness? He is the one who gives testimony before he is asked for it.
