Hadith 6250
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَهَادَوْا فَإِنَّ الْهَدِيَّةَ تُذْهِبُ وَغَرَ الصَّدْرِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Give gifts to one another, for gifts remove malice from the hearts.
Hadith 6251
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ فَإِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي قَالَ أَقْرَبِهِمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have two neighbors, to whom should I give a gift? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one whose door is closer to you.
Hadith 6252
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ شَيْئًا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَهُ فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If Allah Almighty gives someone some wealth, while he has not asked anyone for it, then he should accept it, because it is sustenance that Allah Almighty has granted him.
Hadith 6253
عَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ عَرَضَ لَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ هَذَا الرِّزْقِ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسْأَلَةٍ وَلَا إِشْرَافٍ فَلْيُوَسِّعْ بِهِ فِي رِزْقِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ عَنْهُ غَنِيًّا فَلْيُوَجِّهْهُ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَحْوَجُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aiz bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever receives sustenance without asking or greed, let him expand his provision through it. Then, if he becomes affluent, let him give this wealth to someone who is more in need than himself.
Hadith 6254
(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى رِزْقًا مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسْأَلَةٍ فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ سَأَلْتُ أَبِي مَا الْإِشْرَافُ قَالَ تَقُولُ فِي نَفْسِكَ سَيَبْعَثُ إِلَيَّ فُلَانٌ سَيَصِلُنِي فُلَانٌ
(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever Allah grants sustenance without him asking for it, he should accept it. Abdullah says: I asked my father, Imam Ahmad: What is meant by "ashraf"? He said: It is when you say in your heart that such-and-such person will send something to me, such-and-such person (by giving me something) will show kindness to me.
Hadith 6255
عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْجُهَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ بَلَغَهُ مَعْرُوفٌ عَنْ أَخِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسْأَلَةٍ وَلَا إِشْرَافِ نَفْسٍ فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ وَلَا يَرُدَّهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Khalid bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever receives some wealth from his brother without asking for it and without greed, then he should accept it and not reject it, for it is sustenance that Allah Almighty has granted him.
Hadith 6256
عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَنَحَ مَنِيحَةً وَرِقًا أَوْ ذَهَبًا أَوْ سَقَى لَبَنًا أَوْ أَهْدَى زُقَاقًا فَهُوَ كَعَدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ
Narrated from Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever gives a gift of silver or gold, or gives milk to drink, or guides someone (who is blind or lost), then he will be like one who frees a slave.
Hadith 6257
عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَنْ مَنَحَ مَنِيحَةَ لَبَنٍ أَوْ مَنِيحَةَ وَرِقٍ أَوْ هَدَى زُقَاقًا فَهُوَ كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ
Narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever gives a gift of milk, gives a gift of silver, or guides (the blind, the lost, etc.) on the way, he will be like one who frees a slave.
