Issues of Usurpation

باب النهي عَنْ جِدِهِ وَهَزْلِهِ وَوَعِيدِ مَنِ اخْتَصَبَ مَالَ أخيه
Chapter: Prohibition of taking property unjustly, whether in jest or seriousness, and the warning to one who seizes his brother’s wealth
2 بَابُ مَنِ اعْتَصَبَ أَوْ سَرَقَ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ وَلَوْ قِيْدَ شير أو ذراعChapter: One who seizes or steals something from land, even a span or a cubit

4 بَاب مَنْ أَخَذَ شَاءً فَذَبَحَهَا وَشَوَاهَا أَوْ طَبَخَهَا بِغَيْرِإذن أَهْلِهَاChapter: One who takes a sheep, slaughters it, roasts or cooks it without the owner’s permission
5 بَابُ رَبِّ الْمَعْصُوبِ بِعَيْنِهِ إِنْ كَانَ بَاقِيًا ، وَقِيمَتِهِ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ ذَوَاتِ الْقِيمِ أَوْ رَدِ مِثْلِهِ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ ذَوَاتِ الأَمْثَالِ إِذَا أَتْلَفَهُ الْغَاصِبُ أَوْ تَلَفَ فِي يَدِهِChapter: The owner is entitled to the same item if it remains, its value if it is among valuables, or its like if it is among fungibles, if the usurper destroys it or it perishes in his hand
6 بَابُ مَنْ زَرَعَ فِي أَرْضِ قَوْمٍ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِمْ وَمَنْ أَخَذَ شَيْئًا مِنَ الثَّمَرِ أَوِ الزَّرْعِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ أَهْلِهِChapter: One who plants in someone’s land without their permission, or takes some fruit or crop without the owner’s permission
7 بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي جِنايَةِ البَهَائِمِChapter: What has been reported regarding the offense of animals
8 بَاب دَفْعِ الصَّائِلِ وَإِنْ أَذًى إِلَى قَتْلِهِ وَأَنَّ الْمَصُولَ عَلَيْهِ يُقْتَلُ شَهِيدًاChapter: Repelling an aggressor, even to the point of killing, and that the victim is considered a martyr
