It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The delaying tactics of a wealthy person is oppression, and when someone is referred to a wealthy person, he should accept this referral. In another narration: When someone is referred to a wealthy person, he should accept this referral.
Hadith 6067
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Delaying the repayment of a debt by a wealthy person is injustice, and when you are referred to a wealthy person (for payment), then accept the referral, and there are not two transactions in one transaction.
