Narrated by Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his companions: Do not put yourselves in fear. (Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: After attaining peace, do not put your souls into fear. The people asked: O Messenger of Allah! How is that? He, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: By taking a loan.

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever dies in a state that he is in debt (let him know that) there will be no dinar or dirham there, rather, there will be an exchange of good deeds and bad deeds.
Hadith 6021
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate: I seek refuge with Allah from disbelief and debt. A man said: O Messenger of Allah! Is debt equal to disbelief? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes.
Hadith 6022
Narrated by Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): He says, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) sent me to Haliq Nasrani so that he might send some clothes to you (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) on credit until an easy time. So I went to him and said: The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) has sent me to you so that you may send some clothes to him on credit until an easy time. But he (mockingly) said: What is an easy time and when does it come? By Allah! Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) has neither a goat nor a camel. (Hearing this) I returned and reached the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). When he (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) saw me, he said: This enemy of Allah is lying, I am the best in dealings, (but remember that) if a man wears a garment made of different patches, it is better for him than to acquire something because of his trust that he does not possess.
Hadith 6023
Narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing two Omani or Qatari garments. I said, "These two garments are thick; when you sweat in them, they become heavy. A certain merchant has received a type of cloth; if you send him a message, he might sell you two garments on easy terms." When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him a message, he said, "I know what Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) wants; he wants to seize my cloth, meaning he will not pay me my dirhams in exchange." When this matter reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said, "Indeed, he is lying. These people know that I am the most God-fearing among them, the most truthful, and the most trustworthy in fulfilling trusts."
