Hadith 5902
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ أَوْ يَتَنَاجَشُوا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade that a townsman should sell goods on behalf of a villager, or that people should practice Najsh (artificially inflating prices).
Hadith 5903
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَبَايَعُوا بِالْحَصَاةِ وَلَا تَنَاجَشُوا وَلَا تَبَايَعُوا بِالْمُلَامَسَةِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not sell by throwing pebbles, nor practice Najsh (artificially inflating prices), nor trade by Mulamasah (touching without seeing).
Hadith 5904
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ اسْتِئْجَارِ الْأَجِيرِ حَتَّى يُبَيَّنَ أَجْرَهُ وَعَنِ النَّجْشِ وَاللَّمْسِ وَإِلْقَاءِ الْحَجَرِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade employing a laborer without fixing his wages, forbidden najsh sale, forbidden mulamasah sale, and forbidden trading by throwing a stone.
Hadith 5905
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَبِيعْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْذَنَ لَهُ
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No man should sell over his brother’s sale, nor should he propose over his brother’s proposal, unless he gives him permission.
Hadith 5906
عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِمَاسَةَ التُّجِيبِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ مِصْرَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرِئٍ يَبِيعُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يَذَرَهُ
Abdur Rahman bin Shumasa says: I heard Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) saying from the pulpit in Egypt that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not lawful for a man to trade over his brother’s trade, unless he leaves it.
Hadith 5907
عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمُزَايَدَةِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيعَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ إِلَّا عَلَى الْغَنَائِمِ وَالْمَوَارِيثِ
Zaid bin Aslam says: I heard that a man asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about trade by auction (muzayadah). He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that a man should make a deal over his brother’s deal, except in the case of spoils of war and inherited wealth.
Hadith 5908
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَسْتَامُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No person should make a deal over the deal of his brother.
Hadith 5909
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَاعَ قَدَحًا وَحِلْسًا فِيمَنْ يَزِيدُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, sold a bowl and a mat to the one who offered a higher price.
Hadith 5910
عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَخْطُبَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ أَوْ يَبْتَاعَ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that a man proposes for marriage over the proposal of his brother or sells over the sale of his brother.
