بَابُ النَّهْي عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلَاءِ وَفَضْلِ الْمَاءِ وَعَسْبٍ الْفَّحْل
Chapter: Prohibition of selling the right of allegiance, the virtue of water, and the stud fee of a stallion
Hadith 5810
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ مَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَثَمَنِ الْخَمْرِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the earnings of a prostitute, the price of a dog, and the price of wine.
Hadith 5811
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَمَنُ الْكَلْبِ خَبِيثٌ قَالَ فَإِذَا جَاءَكَ يَطْلُبُ ثَمَنَ الْكَلْبِ فَامْلَأْ كَفَّيْهِ تُرَابًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The price of a dog is forbidden. When someone comes to demand the price of a dog, fill his hands with dust.
Hadith 5812
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ إِلَّا الْكَلْبَ الْمُعَلَّمَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade the price of a dog, except for the price of a trained hunting dog.
Hadith 5813
عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَنَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ السِّنَّوْرِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade the price of a dog and a cat.
Hadith 5814
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ السِّنَّوْرِ وَهُوَ الْقِطُّ
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade taking the price of a cat.
Hadith 5815
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْهِرِّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of a cat.
Hadith 5816
عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of a dog, the wages of a prostitute, and the sweets of a soothsayer.
Hadith 5817
عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَقَالَ طُعْمَةٌ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade the price of a dog and said that this is the food of ignorance.
Hadith 5818
عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَحِلُّ بَيْعُ الْمُغَنِّيَاتِ وَلَا شِرَاؤُهُنَّ وَلَا تِجَارَةٌ فِيهِنَّ وَأَكْلُ أَثْمَانِهِنَّ حَرَامٌ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: The buying and selling of female singers, their earnings, their trade, and their price are forbidden.
Hadith 5819
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثَمَنُ الْحَرِيسَةِ حَرَامٌ وَأَكْلُهَا حَرَامٌ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The price of a stolen goat and eating it are both forbidden.
