Hadith 5729
عَنْ جُمَيْعِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ خَالِهِ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَفْضَلِ الْكَسْبِ فَقَالَ بَيْعٌ مَبْرُورٌ وَعَمَلُ الرَّجُلِ بِيَدِهِ
Jameel bin Umair narrates from his maternal uncle (Sayyiduna Abu Burdah bin Niyar, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: "What is the best means of livelihood?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "A blessed (honest) trade and a man's earning through his own hand."
Hadith 5730
عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الْكَسْبِ أَطْيَبُ قَالَ عَمَلُ الرَّجُلِ بِيَدِهِ وَكُلُّ بَيْعٍ مَبْرُورٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that it was asked from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! Which earning is the purest? He replied: A man's earning from his own hand and every blessed (honest) trade.
Hadith 5731
عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَاسِطًا يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ مَا أَكَلَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ طَعَامًا فِي الدُّنْيَا خَيْرًا لَهُ وَفِي لَفْظٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدَيْهِ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) spread both his hands and said: The best food in this world, and (in the words of another narration) the most beloved food to Allah Almighty, is that which a person eats from what he has earned with his own hands.
Hadith 5732
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ أَطْيَبَ مَا أَكَلَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ كَسْبِهِ وَإِنَّ وَلَدَهُ مِنْ كَسْبِهِ
Narrated by Sayyida Aisha: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best thing is that a person eats from what he earns with his own hands, and his children are also part of his earnings.
Hadith 5733
عَنْهَا مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَوْلَادَكُمْ مِنْ أَطْيَبِ كَسْبِكُمْ فَكُلُوا مِنْ كَسْبِ أَوْلَادِكُمْ
(Second chain) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your children are also among your best earnings, so eat from the earnings of your children.
Hadith 5734
عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَتَى أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَبِي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَجْتَاحَ مَالِي قَالَ أَنْتَ وَمَالُكَ لِوَالِدِكَ إِنَّ أَطْيَبَ مَا أَكَلْتُمْ مِنْ كَسْبِكُمْ وَإِنَّ أَمْوَالَ أَوْلَادِكُمْ مِنْ كَسْبِكُمْ فَكُلُوهُ هَنِيئًا
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both): A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: My father wants to consume my wealth. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You and your wealth belong to your father. The best thing is that which you eat from your own earnings, and your children are from your earnings, so let him eat from it with pleasure.
