Hadith 5437
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites this dhikr two hundred (200) times in a day: LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAHU WAHDAHU LAA SHAREEKA LAHU, LAHUL-MULKU WA LAHUL-HAMDU WA HUWA ‘ALAA KULLI SHAY’IN QADEER (There is no true deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent), then no one who has passed before will surpass him, and no one among those who come after will reach his rank, except one who does more than this in action.
Hadith 5438
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever gives a gift of silver, or a gift of milk, or guides someone on the road, he will receive the reward of freeing a slave. And whoever says: "Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer," he will also be like one who frees a slave.
Hadith 5439
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this supplication most frequently on the Day of Arafah: "There is no god but Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things."
Hadith 5440
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever says this phrase one hundred (100) times in a day: "There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things powerful," he will receive the reward of freeing ten slaves, one hundred (100) good deeds will be written for him, one hundred (100) sins will be erased from him, and this deed will be a protection for him from Satan until evening. And no one will bring a deed more virtuous than this except the one who does this deed in greater quantity.
Hadith 5441
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever says “La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu” (There is no god but Allah, He is alone, He has no partner), he will enter Paradise. I said: Even if he has committed adultery and theft? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Even if he has committed adultery and theft. I asked again: Even if he has committed adultery and theft? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Even if he has committed adultery and theft. I said: Even if he has committed adultery and theft? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Even if he has committed adultery and theft, even if Abu Darda’s nose is rubbed in dust. He says: Then I left from there and began announcing this hadith among the people. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) met me, he said: Go back to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), if people come to know of this, they will rely on it (and abandon deeds). So I returned and informed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: Umar has spoken the truth.
Hadith 5442
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Teach me some concise words so that I may recite them regularly. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Recite these words: LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAHU WAHDAHU LAA SHAREEKA LAHU, ALLAHU AKBARU KABEERAN, WALHAMDU LILLAAHI KATHEERAN, WA SUBHAANALLAHI RABBIL ‘AALAMEEN, WA LAA HAWLA WA LAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAAHIL ‘AZEEZIL HAKEEM. These are five words. He said: These words are for my Lord; what is there for me? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: For yourself, supplicate with this: ALLAHUMMAGHFIR LEE WARZUQNEE WAH-DINEE WA ‘AAFEENEE (O Allah! Forgive me, provide for me, guide me, and grant me well-being).
