The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you have made a vow, then fine (play the drum), otherwise not. She began to play the drum. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came, and she kept playing. Other companions came, and she remained in that state. But when Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came, she hid the drum under herself and put on her shawl. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Umar! Satan is afraid of you. I and these people were sitting here (she kept playing the drum), but when you entered, she did like this and this.
