It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Abu Ruh Zinba’ found his slave with his slave-girl, so he cut off his nose and uprooted his testicles. When that slave came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who did this to you? He said: Zinba’ did. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him and said: What made you do this? He said: This and this happened with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the slave: Go, you are free. He said: O Messenger of Allah! Now whose slave am I? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You are the slave of Allah and His Messenger. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) advised the Muslims regarding him. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, this slave came to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: The will of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: Yes, all right, we will provide for you and your family, and then he arranged for his expenses. When Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) became the caliph, he came to him and said: The will of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: Where do you want to live? He said: In Egypt. So Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to the governor of Egypt to give this man so much land that his sustenance would be maintained from it.

(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Any slave who is mutilated or burned with fire will become free and will become a slave of Allah and His Messenger. After this, a slave named Sundar was brought who had been castrated; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered his freedom. Then, after the passing of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he came to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and he also treated him well. Then, after the death of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), he came to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and he also dealt with him kindly. Then, when he wished to go towards Egypt, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that he should treat this person well, or he wrote that he should observe the will of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding him.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever does not see his slave-girl committing adultery, yet still accuses her of adultery, Allah Almighty will strike that person with a whip of fire on the Day of Resurrection.
