It is narrated from Sayyiduna Atiyyah Qarazi (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: On the day of Qurayzah, we were presented before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Whoever had grown pubic hair was killed, and whoever had not grown pubic hair, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not kill him. I (Atiyyah) was among those boys who had not grown hair, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spared me from being killed.

It is narrated from Abu Abdur Rahman Hubli, he says: We were engaged in a naval jihad in the regions of Rome, Abdullah bin Qais Fazari was our commander and Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) was also with us. The person who was to distribute the spoils of war, Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by him, he had made the captives stand, and among them was a woman who was crying. He asked: What has happened to her? People informed him that the Muslims had separated her from her child. So Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) took the child by the hand and gave him to his mother. Seeing this, the distributor went to Abdullah bin Qais and complained to him. He called Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked: What made you do this? He replied: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever separates a mother from her child, Allah Almighty will separate him from his loved ones on the Day of Resurrection.
