Hadith 4916
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: If I were to swear nine times that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was martyred, that would be more beloved to me than swearing once that he was not martyred. The reason for this is that Allah Almighty made him a Prophet and took him as a martyr. The narrator A‘mash says: When I told this to Ibrahim, he said: This was the belief of those people that the Jews had poisoned the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 4917
Lady Umm Mubashir (may Allah be pleased with her), who had prayed towards both Qiblahs with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), narrated that she came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during his final illness and said: O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, what do you consider to be the cause of your illness? I think it is because of the food which my son also ate with you at Khaybar. Her son had passed away before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I do not consider anything else to be the cause except that. Now the time has come for the vein from which the heart flows to be cut.
