Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said to Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him): O Thawban! What will be your condition when other nations will attack you as people gather around a dish of food? He said: O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, will it be because of our small number? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: No, at that time you will be many, but weakness (wahn) will be cast into your hearts. He said: O Messenger of Allah! What is wahn? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Your love for the world and your dislike for fighting.
