Hadith 4777
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The worst name in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection, for which there will be shame, is that a man calls himself "Malikul-Amlak" (the king of kings).
Hadith 4778
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the most detested and wicked person in the sight of Allah Almighty will be the one who calls himself "Malik al-Amlak" (King of Kings), while there is no king except Allah Almighty.
Hadith 4779
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I live, God willing, I will prohibit these names: Barakah, Yasar, and Nafi’. Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I do not know whether the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the name Rafi’ or not. The reason for prohibiting these names is that when someone asks, “Is Barakah (Blessing) here?” the answer is “No.” Similarly, when someone asks, “Is Yasar (Ease) here?” the answer is “No.” However, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away without prohibiting these names. Then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to prohibit them, but later abandoned this intention.
Hadith 4780
Narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: These four words are the most beloved to Allah Almighty: La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah. So whichever word you wish to begin with, there will be no harm in it. Do not name your child Aflah, Najeeh, Yasar, or Rabah, because when you ask, “Is so-and-so here?” and he is not present, people will say: “No.” Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: These are the four words; do not narrate more than this from me.
Hadith 4781
(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade naming your child with any of these four names: Aflah, Yasar, Nafi‘, and Rabah.
