Hadith 4715
It is narrated from Hanish, he says: I saw Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) sacrificing two rams. I asked him: What is this? He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me to offer a sacrifice on his behalf.
Hadith 4716
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to offer the sacrifice of two rams on his behalf, so I wish to do this act. Muhammad bin Ubaid Muharibi said in his narration: He offered the sacrifice of two rams, one on behalf of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the other on his own behalf. When he was asked about this, he said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me, so I will never abandon it.
Hadith 4717
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Qurt (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The greatest day of sacrifice in the sight of Allah Almighty is the Day of Sacrifice, and after that is the Day of Departure. Five or six camels were brought near to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the camels themselves began to come closer to him, as to which one he would begin with. When their sides had fallen, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said something softly, which I could not understand. So I asked a man near me, "What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say?" He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever wishes, may take a piece of meat.
