Hadith 4593
عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِيْنَارٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ کَانَ يُخْبِرُ، أَنَّ (الْفَضْلَ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ)، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْتَ ، وَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُصَلِّ فِي الْبَيْتِ حِيْنَ دَخَلَهُ ، وَلٰکِنَّهُ لَمَّا خَرَجَ فَنَزَلَ رَکَعَ رَکْعَتَيْنِ عِنْدَ بَابِ الْبَيْتِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) informed him that he entered the House of Allah (the Ka'bah) with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the House of Allah, he did not perform prayer inside it; however, when he came out, he performed prayer near the door of the House of Allah.
Hadith 4594
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَ عَنْ بِلاَلٍ، أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلّٰي فِي الْبَيْتِ قَالَ: وَ کَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُوْلُ : لَمْ يُصَلِّ فِيْهِ ، وَلٰکِنَّهُ کَبَّرَ فِيْ نَوَاحِيْهِ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed inside the House of Allah (the Ka'bah), but Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray inside it; rather, he glorified Allah in its corners.
Hadith 4595
عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ : صَلَّي رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْبَيْتِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer in the House of Allah (the Ka'bah).
Hadith 4596
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ عِنْدِيْ وَ هُوَ قَرِيرُ الْعَيْنِ طَيِّبُ النَّفْسِ ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيَّ وَ هُوَ حَزِيْنٌ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ! إِنَّکَ خَرَجْتَ مِنْ عِنْدِيْ وَ أَنْتَ قَرِيْرُ الْعَيْنِ طَيِّبُ النَّفْسِ ، وَ رَجَعْتَ وَ أَنْتَ حَزِيْنٌ؟ فَقَالَ : ((إِنِّيْ أَخَافُ أَنْ أَکُوْنَ أَتْعَبْتُ أُمَّتِيْ مِنْ بَعْدِيْ))
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left from me, there was calmness in his eyes and he was in a very pleasant mood, but when he returned, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sorrowful. I said: O Messenger of Allah! When you left from me, there was delight in your eyes and your temperament was pleasant, but now you have returned sorrowful? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I am afraid that after me, I have imposed upon my Ummah a task that will tire them.
Hadith 4597
(وَعَنْهَا مِنْ طَرِيْقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ : ((لَقَدْ صَنَعْتُ الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا وَ دِدْتُ أَنِّيْ لَمْ أَفْعَلْهُ ، دَخَلْتُ الْبَيْتَ ، فَأَخْشٰي أَنْ يَجِيْئَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أُفُقٍ مِنَ الآفَاقِ فَلا يَسْتَطِيْعُ دُخُولَهُ، فَيَرْجِعُ وَ فِيْ نَفْسِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْئٌ))
(Second chain) Sayyida narrates: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to me one day and said: Today I have performed an action, and I wish I had not done it. I entered the House of Allah (the Ka'bah), and now I fear that a man may come from a distant region, but when he is unable to enter the House of Allah, he will return in such a state that there will be a kind of restlessness in his soul.
Hadith 4598
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ! کُلُّ أَهْلِکَ قَدْ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ غَيْرِيْ؟ فَقَالَ : ((أَرْسِلِي إِلٰي شَيْبَةَ فَيَفْتَحَ لَکِ الْبَابَ)) فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ شَيْبَةُ : مَا اسْتَطَعْنَا فَتْحَهُ فِي جَاهِلِيَّةٍ وَ لا إِسْلاَمٍ بِلَيْلٍ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ((صَلِّي فِي الْحِجْرِ ، فَإِنَّ قَوْمَکَ اسْتَقْصَرُوا عَنْ بِنَائِ الْبَيْتِ حِيْنَ بَنَوْهُ (وفي لفظ) صَلِّي فِي الحِجْرِ إِذَا أَرَدْتِ دُخُولَ الْبَيْتِ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ))
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: O Messenger of Allah! All your wives have entered the House of Allah (Ka'bah) except me (and I have not entered). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Send a message to Shaybah that he should open the door for you. So she sent the message, but Shaybah said: Neither in the time of ignorance did we have the authority, nor do we have it now in Islam, to open it at night. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Aisha! Then perform prayer in the Hijr, because when your people built the House of Allah, due to lack of funds, they made it smaller. In another narration: Perform prayer in the Hijr, for it is also a part of the House of Allah.
