Hadith 4551
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to us on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah and said: Which day is the most sacred? The companions said: Today, that is, the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Which month is the most sacred? The companions said: This month of Dhul-Hijjah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Which city is the most sacred? They said: Our city, that is, Makkah Mukarramah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your blood and wealth are forbidden to one another just as the sanctity of this city, this month, and this day is sacred. Have I conveyed the message of Allah Almighty to you? The companions said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Bear witness.
Hadith 4552
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said during the Farewell Pilgrimage: "O people! What day is this?" The companions replied, "It is a sacred day." He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What city is this?" The companions replied, "It is a sacred city." He (peace and blessings be upon him) then asked, "What month is this?" The companions replied, "It is a sacred month." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Your wealth, your blood, and your honor are as sacred to one another as the sanctity of this day, in this city, and in this month." He repeated these words several times. After that, he (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head towards the sky and said several times, "Have I conveyed the message to the people?" Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: "By Allah! This was the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entrusting Allah with a will regarding the rights of the Ummah." After this, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware! Those who are present should convey these words to those who are not present. O people! Do not turn to disbelief after me, striking the necks of one another."
Hadith 4553
A companion narrates that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon to the people at Mina, and he himself instructed them to sit in their respective places: "Let the Muhajirun sit here," and with that, he pointed towards the direction of the Qiblah. "Let the Ansar sit here," and with that, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, pointed to the left side of the Qiblah, "and let the rest of the people sit around them." Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, taught the people the rites of Hajj. Allah Almighty opened the ears of the people of Mina to such an extent that they heard the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while sitting in their respective places. I also heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Arrange for pebbles (the size of a chickpea or bean, etc.)."

It is narrated from Murrah Tayyib, he says: A companion narrated a hadith to me in this very room of mine and said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah while riding a red-colored she-camel, whose ear was slit. In the sermon, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also said: Today is the day of sacrifice and this is the day of the greater Hajj.
