Hadith 4512
عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَرْمِي جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ عَلَى دَابَّتِهِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَكَانَ لَا يَأْتِي سَائِرَهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا مَاشِيًا ذَاهِبًا وَرَاجِعًا وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يَأْتِيهَا إِلَّا مَاشِيًا ذَاهِبًا وَرَاجِعًا
On the Day of Sacrifice, that is, the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to come riding to stone the Jamrah of Aqabah, and on the remaining days he would come and go on foot. He believed that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also used to come and go on foot.
Hadith 4513
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ رَاكِبًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) performed the stoning of Jamrah Aqabah on the Day of Sacrifice, that is, the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, while riding.
Hadith 4514
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْمِي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ يَقُولُ: ((لِتَأْخُذُوا مَنَاسِكَكُمْ فَإِنِّي لَا أَدْرِي لَعَلِّي أَنْ لَا أَحُجَّ بَعْدَ حَجَّتِي هَذِهِ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: I saw the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performing the ritual of throwing pebbles on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah while mounted, and he used to say: Learn your rites (of Hajj), for I do not know, perhaps I may not perform Hajj after this Hajj of mine.
Hadith 4515
(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ: (يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((لِتَأْخُذْ أُمَّتِي مَنَاسِكَهَا وَارْمُوا بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ))
(Second chain) The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Let my follower learn the rites (of Hajj) and take care to use pebbles (for throwing) that are equal in size to a chickpea or bean, etc.
Hadith 4516
عَنْ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكِلَابِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ لَهُ صَهْبَاءَ لَا ضَرْبَ وَلَا طَرْدَ وَلَا إِلَيْكَ إِلَيْكَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qudamah bin Abdullah Kalabi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of Sacrifice, that is, the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, riding his she-camel named Sahba, performing the stoning of Jamrah Aqabah from the middle of the valley. At that time, there was neither any beating, nor driving away, nor saying, "Move aside, move aside."
Hadith 4517
عَنْ أُمِّ الْحُصَيْنِ (الْأَحْمَسِيَّةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا) قَالَتْ: حَجَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ فَرَأَيْتُ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَبِلَالًا وَأَحَدُهُمَا آخِذٌ بِخِطَامِ نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْآخَرُ رَافِعٌ ثَوْبَهُ يَسْتُرُهُ مِنَ الْحَرِّ حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ
Sayyidah Umm Husayn Ahmasiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I performed Hajj with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Farewell Pilgrimage. I saw Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with them both); one of them was holding the reins of the Prophet’s camel and the other was lifting a cloth to shield the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the heat. In this state, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the stoning of Jamrah ‘Aqabah.
