Hadith 4455
Narrated from Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: On the day of Arafah, in the latter part of the day, I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on his mount. When the sun set, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from there. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the crowd of people and heard the noise, he said: "O people! Walk calmly, adhere to tranquility, hastening and exerting hardship is not a virtue." Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When there was a crowd of people, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would walk slowly, and when the path was clear, he would walk a bit faster (in nas, which is faster than ‘anaq), until when he passed through that valley about which most people think that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed there—in another narration: When he reached that valley where the nobles and caliphs descend, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dismounted and urinated there (the narrator did not use the word "ahraqa"), then I brought a vessel of water to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he performed ablution. Then I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Prayer." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "We will pray ahead." Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted again and did not pray at that time, until he reached Muzdalifah, dismounted there, and combined and performed Maghrib and Isha prayers.
Hadith 4456
Kuraib asked Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) what he did on that evening, meaning the evening of Arafah, when he was riding with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We reached the valley where people dismount and stop for the Maghrib prayer. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made his she-camel kneel there and urinated. The narrator did not use the words "Ahrāqa." After that, he asked for water for ablution and performed a brief ablution. Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! (What about) the prayer?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "We will pray ahead." After that, he mounted and set off, and reached Muzdalifah. There, he performed the Maghrib prayer. Afterwards, people made their camels kneel in their places, but they had not yet unloaded their luggage from the mounts when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) established the Isha prayer. After performing this prayer, people unloaded their luggage from the mounts. Kuraib asked: What did you do in the morning? Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at that stage, and I went on foot with the Quraysh who had gone ahead.
Hadith 4457
Anas bin Sirin says: I was with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) at Arafat. When it was time to depart, I also set out with him. When the Imam arrived, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) performed the Zuhr and Asr prayers with him. Then he stood with the Imam (for Wuquf), and I and my other companions were also with him. When the Imam departed from Arafat after sunset, we also set out with him. When we reached a narrow path between two mountains called Ma’zim, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) made his mount sit down. Seeing this, we also made our mounts sit down. We thought that he wanted to perform prayer there, but the slave who was holding the reins of his mount informed us that he did not intend to pray there. The reason he dismounted was that he remembered that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached this place, he had relieved himself there. Now Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also wanted to relieve himself at this place.
Hadith 4458
Abdur Rahman bin Yazid narrates: He says, we performed Hajj with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) during the era of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). When we stood at Arafah and the sun had set, Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If the Commander of the Faithful departs now, this departure will be according to the Sunnah. Abdur Rahman says: I do not know whether Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) spoke first or Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) began to depart first. The people started walking very fast, but Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) kept his pace moderately brisk, until we reached Muzdalifah. Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in the Maghrib prayer, then he called for food and ate, after which the Iqamah for Isha was given and he led this prayer. Then he slept. When the dawn became bright, he got up and performed the Fajr prayer. Abdur Rahman says: I said, "You do not usually perform the Fajr prayer this early?" He used to perform the Fajr prayer when it became light. He replied: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the Fajr prayer at this place, at this time, on this day.

Hadith 4463
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from Arafah, he proceeded with some speed, and people were going off to the right and left. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned towards them and said: "People! Walk calmly." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Muzdalifah, and there he combined both prayers, that is, Maghrib and Isha. After that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed in Muzdalifah and stood at the mountain of Quzah. When departing, he seated Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) behind him on his mount, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have stood here, but all of Muzdalifah is a place of standing."
