بَابُ أَمْرِ الْمُتَمَتِّعِ بِالتَّحَلُّلِ بَعْدَ السَّعْيِ وَالْحَلْقِ أَوْ التَّقْصِيرِ إِلَّا مَنْ سَاقَ هَدْيًا.
Chapter: Commanding the Mutamatti‘ to Release from Ihram After Sa‘y and Shaving or Trimming, Except for One Who Has Brought a Sacrifice
Hadith 4405
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَأَهْدَى، فَقَالَ: ((مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِالْعُمْرَةِ وَلَمْ يُهْدِ فَلْيَحِلِّ، وَمَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَأَهْدَى فَلَا يَحِلُّ، وَمَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ فَلْيُتِمَّ حَجَّهُ)) قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: وَكُنْتُ مِمَّنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ
Narrated by Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: We set out for Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of the Farewell Pilgrimage. Some of us had put on the Ihram for Hajj and some had put on the Ihram for Umrah, but they had sacrificial animals with them. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those who have put on the Ihram for Umrah and do not have a sacrificial animal with them should complete their Umrah and come out of Ihram, and those who have put on the Ihram for Umrah but have a sacrificial animal with them should not come out of Ihram, and those who have put on the Ihram for Hajj should complete their Hajj. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I was among those who had put on the Ihram for Umrah.
Hadith 4406
(وَعَنْهَا مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ) ((وَمَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ ثُمَّ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَسَعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَقَصَّرَ أَحَلَّ مِمَّا حَرُمَ مِنْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَقْبِلَ حَجًّا))
(Second chain) It is stated in this: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: And whoever has entered into the state of Ihram for Umrah, and after performing the Tawaf of the House of Allah and the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, has had his hair cut, he is free from the restrictions of Ihram, and he will enter into Ihram anew for Hajj.
Hadith 4407
عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ: أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَحِلَّ فِي حَجَّتِهِ الَّتِي حَجَّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed her to become lawful (halal) during the occasion of Hajj.
Hadith 4408
عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ عُمَرَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: لَمَّا أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِسَاءَهُ أَنْ يَحْلِلْنَ بِعُمْرَةٍ، قُلْنَ: فَمَا يَمْنَعُكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنْ تَحِلَّ مَعَنَا؟ قَالَ: إِنِّي قَدْ أَهْدَيْتُ وَلَبَّدْتُّ، فَلَا أَحِلُّ حَتَّى أَنْحَرَ هَدْيِي
It is narrated from the wife of the Messenger, Sayyida Hafsa bint Umar (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered his wives to become lawful (i.e., come out of the state of Ihram) after performing Umrah, they said: O Messenger of Allah! What is preventing you from becoming lawful along with us? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have the sacrificial animal with me and I have applied oil to my hair, so I will not become lawful until I have performed the sacrifice.
Hadith 4409
وَعَنْهَا أَيْضًا قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ حَلُّوا وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ مِنْ عُمْرَتِكَ؟ قَالَ: ((إِنِّي قَدْ قَلَّدْتُّ هَدْيِي وَلَبَّدْتُّ رَأْسِي فَلَا أَحِلُّ حَتَّى أَحِلَّ مِنَ الْحَجِّ))
It is narrated from Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the matter that people are removing their Ihram after ‘Umrah, but you (peace and blessings be upon him) are not becoming halal?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have a sacrificial animal with me and I have put a garland on it and have applied oil to my head, therefore I will not become halal until I have completed Hajj."
Hadith 4410
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَبَّدَ رَأْسَهُ وَأَهْدَى، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ مَكَّةَ أَمَرَ نِسَاءَهُ أَنْ يَحْلِلْنَ، قُلْنَ: مَا لَكَ أَنْتَ لَا تَحِلُّ؟ قَالَ: ((إِنِّي قَلَّدْتُّ هَدْيِي وَلَبَّدْتُّ رَأْسِي، فَلَا أَحِلُّ حَتَّى أَحِلَّ مِنْ حَجَّتِي وَأَحْلِقَ رَأْسِي))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had applied ointment to his head and the sacrificial animal was also with him. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Makkah Mukarramah and ordered his wife to come out of ihram, she said: What is the matter that you yourself are not coming out of ihram? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: I have already put a collar on the neck of the sacrificial animal and have applied ointment to my head, therefore I will not become halal until I have completed Hajj and shaved my head.
