Hadith 4391
Narrated by Sayyida Habiba bint Abu Tajza’ (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: We, some Qurayshi women, went to the house of Abi Husayn and saw that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing Sa’i between Safa and Marwah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was running so much that his cloak was flying, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying to the companions: Run, run, indeed Allah Almighty has made Sa’i obligatory upon you.
Hadith 4392
(Second chain) She says: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, performing Sa’i between Safa and Marwah. The people were ahead of him, and he, peace and blessings be upon him, was behind them, running so fast that due to his brisk walking, his cloak was flying and I could see his knees. And he, peace and blessings be upon him, was saying to the people: Run, run, indeed Allah Almighty has made Sa’i obligatory upon you.
Hadith 4393
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out of Masjid al-Haram heading towards Safa while saying: We too will begin the Sa’i from the place from which Allah Almighty has begun its mention.
