It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sa’ib (may Allah be pleased with him), who says: I heard that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was reciting this supplication between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone: {رَبَّنَاآتِنَافِیْالدُّنْیَاحَسَنَۃًوَفِیْالْآخِـرَۃِحَسَنَـۃًوَقِـنَاعَذَابَالنَّارِ} (O our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire). (Surah Al-Baqarah: 201)
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the House of Allah and touch the Black Stone, he would recite these words: Bismillah, Allahu Akbar.
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The circumambulation of the House of Allah (Ka'bah), the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and the stoning of the Jamarat—all these acts have been prescribed for the remembrance of Allah Almighty.
Siba‘ bin Thabit says: I heard the people of ignorance (Jahiliyyah) saying while performing Tawaf: “Today our eyes have found coolness that we are performing Sa‘i between Safa and Marwah.”
