الْفَصْلُ الثَّالِثُ فِي طَوَافِ الْمُتَمَتِّعِ وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَقَطْ
Third Section: Tawaf of the Mutamatti‘ (One Performing Umrah Then Hajj)
Hadith 4377
عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَيُصِيبُ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ؟ قَالَ: أَمَّا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَدِمَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ طَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، ثُمَّ تَلَى: {لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ}
It is narrated from Amr bin Dinar that a man asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) whether a man can have intercourse with his wife before performing Sa'i between Safa and Marwah. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, he first performed Tawaf of the House of Allah, then offered two units of prayer, and after that, he performed Sa'i between Safa and Marwah. Then Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) recited this verse: {لَقَدْ کَانَ لَکُمْ فِیْ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰہِ أُسْـوَۃٌ حَسَنَۃٌ۔} (For you, in the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), is the best example.)
Hadith 4378
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِينَ أَهَلُّوا بِالْعُمْرَةِ طَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، ثُمَّ طَافُوا بَعْدَ أَنْ رَجَعُوا مِنْ مِنًى لِحَجِّهِمْ، وَالَّذِينَ قَرَنُوا طَافُوا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that those companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) who had entered into the state of Ihram for Umrah, after performing the Tawaf of the House of Allah and the Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, had come out of Ihram. After returning from Mina, they performed Tawaf for Hajj, and those who had entered into the state of Ihram for Qiran Hajj performed only one Tawaf.
