بَابُ تَظَلُّلِ الْمُحْرِمِ مِنَ الْحَرِّ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ وَمَا جَاءَ فِي تَغْطِيَةِ الرَّأْسِ لِلرَّجُلِ

Hadith 4267
عَنْ أُمِّ الْحُصَيْنِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: حَجَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ فَرَأَيْتُ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَبِلَالًا وَأَحَدُهُمَا آخِذٌ بِخِطَامِ نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْآخَرُ رَافِعٌ ثَوْبَهُ يَسْتُرُهُ مِنَ الْحَرِّ حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Husayn (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Farewell Pilgrimage. I saw Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); one of them was holding the rein of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) camel, and the other was lifting his cloth to shade the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the heat, until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stoned the Jamrah ‘Aqabah.

Hadith 4268
عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَمَّنْ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَاحَ إِلَى مِنًى يَوْمَ التَّرْوِيَةِ وَإِلَى جَانِبِهِ بِلَالٌ، بِيَدِهِ عُودٌ عَلَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ يُظَلِّلُ بِهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from a man who saw that on the Day of Tarwiyah (i.e., the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) set out towards Mina, and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was at his side. In his hand was a stick, on which there was a cloth, with which he was shading the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

Hadith 4269
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي وَقَصَتْهُ نَاقَتُهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَمَاتَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا))
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the incident of the man whom his camel threw down and he passed away, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said about him: Do not cover his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.

Hadith 4270
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ الرُّكْبَانُ يَمُرُّونَ بِنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُحْرِمَاتٌ، فَإِذَا حَاذَوْا بِنَا، أَسْدَلَتْ إِحْدَانَا جِلْبَابَهَا مِنْ رَأْسِهَا عَلَى وَجْهِهَا، فَإِذَا جَازُوا بِنَا كَشَفْنَاهُ
Narrated from Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: We were in the state of Ihram with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when caravans would pass by us, we would lower our shawls from our heads over our faces, and when they had passed, we would remove the shawls from our faces.

Hadith 4271
عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَتْ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُجَّاجًا حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِالْعَرْجِ، نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَجَلَسَتْ عَائِشَةُ إِلَى جَنْبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَجَلَسْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ أَبِي وَكَانَتْ زِمَالَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَزِمَالَةُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَاحِدَةً مَعَ غُلَامِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، فَجَلَسَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَنْتَظِرُهُ أَنْ يَطْلُعَ عَلَيْهِ فَطَلَعَ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُ بَعِيرٌ، فَقَالَ: أَيْنَ بَعِيرُكَ؟ قَالَ: قَدْ أَضْلَلْتُهُ الْبَارِحَةَ، فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: بَعِيرٌ وَاحِدٌ تُضِلُّهُ؟ فَطَفِقَ يَضْرِبُهُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَبَسَّمُ، وَيَقُولُ: ((انْظُرُوا إِلَى هَذَا الْمُحْرِمِ وَمَا يَصْنَعُ))
It is narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: We set out for Hajj in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When we reached the place of ‘Arj, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) sat beside the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I sat beside my father. The mounts and luggage of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) were in the custody of the slave of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was sitting and waiting for the slave, but when he came, he did not have the camel with him. When he was asked where the camel was, he said: It got lost during the night. Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) became angry and said: There was only one camel, and you lost even that! Saying this, he began to beat him, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was watching and smiling, and he said: Look at him, he is in the state of Ihram and see what he is doing.
