Hazrat Nafi narrates that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) whenever he returned after Hajj or Umrah, he would definitely stay at Batha near Dhul-Hulaifa and would say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to spend the night here, and performed the Fajr prayer at this very place.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer beyond ‘Arj. The details are as follows: When you travel five miles from ‘Arj, you will come to a mosque on a mound. Near this mosque, there are two or three graves, and large stones are placed on these graves. There are some rocks on the right side of the path at that place. Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to set out from ‘Arj after the sun had declined, passing between those rocks, and would perform the Zuhr prayer at the location of that mosque.

This waterway is adjacent to Harsha. (According to one narration, it is joined with the edge of Harsha.) There is a distance of about a bowshot between it and the road.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would come to Makkah Mukarramah, he would spend the night at Dhi Tuwa and perform the Fajr prayer there. The place where the mosque has now been built, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray there, but rather a little lower down on a solid mound.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kept the two mountain paths facing the Ka'bah in front of him, and on one side of the mound where the mosque is, just to the left of it, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left about ten hand spans and performed prayer on top of the black mound.
