فَصْلٌ مِنْهُ فِي ذِكْرِ الْأَمْكِنَةِ الَّتِي نَزَلَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْمَسَاجِدِ الَّتِي
Section: Mention of the Places Where the Prophet Stayed and the Mosques He Prayed In
Hadith 4129
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي قُرَّةَ مُوسَى بْنِ طَارِقٍ قَالَ: قَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ وَقَالَ نَافِعٌ، كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ (يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ) رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا إِذَا صَدَرَ مِنَ الْحَجِّ أَوِ الْعُمْرَةِ أَنَاخَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ الَّتِي بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ (وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ) حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعَرِّسُ بِهَا حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ
Hazrat Nafi narrates that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) whenever he returned after Hajj or Umrah, he would definitely stay at Batha near Dhul-Hulaifa and would say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to spend the night here, and performed the Fajr prayer at this very place.
Hadith 4130
قَالَ مُوسَى (وَأَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ) أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ فِي مُعَرَّسِهِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّكَ فِي بَطْحَاءَ مُبَارَكَةٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) spent the night in Batha, and it was shown to him in a dream that he was in the blessed valley of Batha.
Hadith 4131
قَالَ: وَقَالَ: (حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ) أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الصَّغِيرِ الَّذِي دُونَ الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي يُشْرِفُ عَلَى الرَّوْحَاءِ
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered prayer at the place of the small mosque, apart from the mosque above Rauha.
Hadith 4132
قَالَ: (وَقَالَ: نَافِعٌ) إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ تَحْتَ سَرْحَةٍ ضَخْمَةٍ دُونَ الرُّوَيْثَةِ عَنْ يَمِينِ الطَّرِيقِ فِي مَكَانٍ بَطْحٍ سَهْلٍ حَيْثُ يُفْضِي مِنَ الْأَكَمَةِ دُونَ بَرِيدِ الرُّوَيْثَةِ بِمِيلَيْنِ، وَقَدِ انْكَسَرَ أَعْلَاهَا وَهِيَ قَائِمَةٌ عَلَى سَاقٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to sit under that large tree, whose upper part has broken off and now only the trunk remains, in the wide and soft valley or plain full of pebbles, two miles away from Ruwaitha on the right side of the road.
Hadith 4133
(وَقَالَ نَافِعٌ) إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْعَرْجِ، وَأَنْتَ ذَاهِبٌ عَلَى رَأْسِ خَمْسَةِ أَمْيَالٍ مِنَ الْعَرْجِ فِي مَسْجِدٍ إِلَى هَضْبَةٍ، عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ الْمَسْجِدِ قَبْرَانِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةٌ، عَلَى الْقُبُورِ رَضْمٌ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ عَلَى يَمِينِ الطَّرِيقِ عِنْدَ سَلِمَاتِ الطَّرِيقِ، بَيْنَ أُولَئِكَ السَّلِمَاتِ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَرُوحُ مِنَ الْعَرْجِ بَعْدَ أَنْ تَمِيلَ الشَّمْسُ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ، فَيُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ فِي ذَلِكَ الْمَسْجِدِ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer beyond ‘Arj. The details are as follows: When you travel five miles from ‘Arj, you will come to a mosque on a mound. Near this mosque, there are two or three graves, and large stones are placed on these graves. There are some rocks on the right side of the path at that place. Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to set out from ‘Arj after the sun had declined, passing between those rocks, and would perform the Zuhr prayer at the location of that mosque.
Hadith 4134
(وَقَالَ نَافِعٌ): إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَزَلَ تَحْتَ سَرْحَةٍ (وَفِي لَفْظٍ: سَرَحَاتٍ) عَنْ يَسَارِ الطَّرِيقِ فِي مَسِيلٍ دُونَ هَرْشَى، ذَلِكَ الْمَسِيلُ لَاصِقٌ عَلَى هَرْشَى، (وَفِي لَفْظٍ: لَاصِقٌ بِكُرَاعِ هَرْشَا) بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الطَّرِيقِ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ غَلْوَةِ سَهْمٍ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed near a large tree in the waterway, away from the right side of the road at Harsha. This waterway is adjacent to Harsha. (According to one narration, it is joined with the edge of Harsha.) There is a distance of about a bowshot between it and the road.
Hadith 4135
(وَقَالَ نَافِعٌ) إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ بِذِي طُوًى، يَبِيتُ بِهِ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ حِينَ قَدِمَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، وَمُصَلَّى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَكَمَةٍ غَلِيظَةٍ لَيْسَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي بُنِيَ ثَمَّ وَلَكِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَكَمَةٍ خَشِنَةٍ غَلِيظَةٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would come to Makkah Mukarramah, he would spend the night at Dhi Tuwa and perform the Fajr prayer there. The place where the mosque has now been built, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray there, but rather a little lower down on a solid mound.
Hadith 4136
(قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي) أَنْ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَقْبَلَ فُرْضَتَيِ الْجَبَلِ الطَّوِيلِ الَّذِي قِبَلَ الْكَعْبَةِ فَجَعَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ الَّذِي بُنِيَ يَسَارَ الْمَسْجِدِ بِطَرَفِ الْأَكَمَةِ وَمُصَلَّى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُ عَلَى الْأَكَمَةِ السَّوْدَاءِ يَدَعُ مِنَ الْأَكَمَةِ عَشْرَةَ أَذْرُعٍ أَوْ نَحْوَهَا، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْفُرْضَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْجَبَلِ الطَّوِيلِ الَّذِي بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَةِ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kept the two mountain paths facing the Ka'bah in front of him, and on one side of the mound where the mosque is, just to the left of it, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left about ten hand spans and performed prayer on top of the black mound.
