Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said to his wives in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage: This is your Hajj, after this you should sit on your mats (in your homes). Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says: But after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), all the Mothers of the Believers used to go for Hajj, except for Sayyida Zaynab bint Jahsh and Sayyida Sawda bint Zam'a (may Allah be pleased with them both), they used to say: By Allah! After the statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) "This is Hajj, then (sit) on your mats (in your homes)," we will not ride (for Hajj) again.
