Hadith 4051
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((أَفْضَلُ الْأَعْمَالِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ إِيمَانٌ لَا شَكَّ فِيهِ، وَغَزْوٌ لَا غُلُولَ فِيهِ، وَحَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ))، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ يُكَفِّرُ خَطَايَا تِلْكَ السَّنَةِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The most virtuous deeds in the sight of Allah Almighty are: such faith in which there is no doubt, such striving (jihad) in which there is no dishonesty, and an accepted Hajj (Hajj Mabroor). Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that Hajj Mabroor becomes an expiation for the sins of that year.
Hadith 4052
وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ حَجَّ (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: مَنْ أَمَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ) فَلَمْ يَرْفُثْ، وَلَمْ يَفْسُقْ رَجَعَ كَهَيْئَتِهِ يَوْمَ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ))
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever intends this House for Hajj and during it neither speaks obscenely nor commits any sin, he will return (innocent) like the day his mother gave birth to him.
Hadith 4053
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: ((إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُبَاهِي مَلَائِكَتَهُ عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ بِأَهْلِ عَرَفَةَ، فَيَقُولُ: انْظُرُوا إِلَى عِبَادِي أَتَوْنِي شُعْثًا غُبْرًا))
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him): The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty, on the evening of the Day of Arafah, boasts before the angels because of the people of Arafah and says: Look at My servants, they have come to Me disheveled and dusty.
Hadith 4054
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلُهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrated a similar hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 4055
عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((تَابِعُوا بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ، فَإِنَّ مُتَابَعَةً بَيْنَهُمَا تَنْفِيَانِ الْفَقْرَ وَالذُّنُوبَ كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ الْخَبَثَ))
Narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Perform Hajj and Umrah consecutively, for performing them one after the other removes poverty and sins just as a furnace removes impurities.
Hadith 4056
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلُهُ، وَفِيهِ: ((فَإِنَّ مُتَابَعَةً بَيْنَهُمَا تَزِيدُ فِي الْعُمُرِ وَالرِّزْقِ، وَتَنْفِيَانِ الذُّنُوبَ كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِ))
Narrated from Sayyiduna 'Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is like the previous hadith, except for this difference: Performing both of them consecutively increases lifespan and sustenance, and they erase sins just as a furnace removes the impurities from iron.
Hadith 4057
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((تَابِعُوا بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ، فَإِنَّهُمَا يَنْفِيَانِ الْفَقْرَ وَالذُّنُوبَ كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِ وَالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ، وَلَيْسَ لِلْحَجَّةِ الْمَبْرُورَةِ ثَوَابٌ دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Perform Hajj and Umrah rituals one after the other, for indeed they eliminate poverty and sins just as a furnace removes impurities from iron, gold, and silver. And the reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing less than Paradise.
Hadith 4058
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((الْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ، وَالْعُمْرَتَانِ تُكَفِّرَانِ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing but Paradise, and two Umrahs become an expiation for the sins committed between them.
Hadith 4059
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((الْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ))، قَالُوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ! مَا الْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ؟ قَالَ: ((إِطْعَامُ الطَّعَامِ وَإِفْشَاءُ السَّلَامِ))
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no reward for an accepted Hajj except Paradise. The companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is an accepted Hajj? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That during which people are fed and greetings are made common.
Hadith 4060
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((لَيُحَجَّنَّ الْبَيْتُ وَلَيُعْتَمَرَنَّ بَعْدَ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Even after the emergence of Gog and Magog, Hajj and Umrah of the House of Allah will be performed.
Hadith 4061
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((النَّفَقَةُ فِي الْحَجِّ كَالنَّفَقَةِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِسَبْعِمِائَةِ ضَعْفٍ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Spending during Hajj is multiplied up to seven hundred times like spending in the way of Allah, that is, in Jihad.
Hadith 4062
عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((الْحَجُّ جِهَادُ كُلِّ ضَعِيفٍ))
Narrated by Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hajj is the jihad of every weak person.
Hadith 4063
عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: ((إِنْ كَانَ قَالَهُ جِهَادُ الْكَبِيرِ وَالضَّعِيفِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ الْحَجُّ وَالْعُمْرَةُ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The jihad of the elderly, the weak, and the woman is Hajj and Umrah.
