Hadith 4022
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Night of Qadr is in the last ten nights of Ramadan. Whoever stands (in prayer) during these ten nights seeking reward, Allah Almighty will forgive his past and future sins. This night will be on the odd nights, that is, the twenty-first, twenty-third, twenty-fifth, twenty-seventh, or twenty-ninth. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: The sign of the Night of Qadr is that it is a clear and bright night, as if the moon is shining in it, it is extremely peaceful, there is neither cold nor heat in it, no star is thrown (i.e., shooting star) until morning, and when the sun rises in the morning, it has no rays, it is like the full moon, and on that day, when it rises, Satan does not come before it.
Hadith 4023
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Ubada bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us about the Night of Qadr: This night occurs in the month of Ramadan, so seek it in the last ten nights, and among these, in the odd nights, that is, the twenty-first, twenty-third, twenty-fifth, twenty-seventh, or the last night of Ramadan. Whoever stands (in prayer) during this night seeking reward, his past and future sins will be forgiven.
Hadith 4024
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Seek this night in the last ten (nights), that is, when nine days or seven days or five days or three days remain of the month of Ramadan, or on the last night of this month.
