Hadith 4000
Narrated by Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to observe i'tikaf in the mosque, he would lean his blessed head towards me and I would comb his hair, while I was in the state of menstruation during those days.
Hadith 4001
(Second chain) She says: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was in i'tikaf, he would extend his blessed head towards me from the mosque, then I would wash it while I was menstruating.
Hadith 4002
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in i'tikaf, he would not enter the house except for human necessity, and when I would wash his blessed head, there would be the threshold of the door between me and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 4003
(Second chain) Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would lean his head towards me, and I would comb his hair, while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of i'tikaf in the mosque, and he would not enter the house except for human needs (i.e., urination and defecation), unless he intended to perform ablution, then he would come.
Hadith 4004
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: When I would go home out of necessity during i'tikaf and there was a sick person there, I would inquire about their condition while walking, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would extend his head towards me while in the state of i'tikaf and I would comb his hair, and in such a state, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would only enter the house for human necessity.
Hadith 4005
It is narrated from the wife of the Messenger, Sayyida Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in i'tikaf. I came to meet him at night, spoke with him, and then when I got up to return, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up with me to escort me back. Her residence was in that place which later became the house of Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him). Meanwhile, two Ansari men passed by. When they saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), they hurried by, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: "Wait (and walk as you were walking before), this woman is my wife Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her)." They said: "Glory be to Allah! (How astonishing) O Messenger of Allah! (What need is there for this clarification?)" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Satan circulates in the human body like blood, so I feared that he might cast some evil thought into your hearts."
