Hadith 3991
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِنَّ لِلْمَسَاجِدِ أَوْتَادًا، الْمَلَائِكَةُ جُلَسَاؤُهُمْ، إِنْ غَابُوا يَفْتَقِدُوهُمْ، وَإِنْ مَرِضُوا عَادُوهُمْ، وَإِنْ كَانُوا فِي حَاجَةٍ أَعَانُوهُمْ))
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Verily, there are some people who sit in the mosque, and the angels become their companions. If they are absent, the angels search for them; if they fall ill, the angels visit them; and if they have a need, the angels assist them.
Hadith 3992
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: اعْتَكَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَاتُّخِذَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ مِنْ سَعَفٍ، قَالَ: فَأَخْرَجَ رَأْسَهُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ، فَقَالَ: ((إِنَّ الْمُصَلِّيَ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ أَحَدُكُمْ بِمَا يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ، وَلَا يَجْهَرْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ))
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed i'tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan, so a chamber made of palm branches was constructed for him. One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put his head out from the chamber and said: Indeed, the one who is praying is conversing with his Lord, so each of you should consider how he converses with his Lord, and no person should recite aloud over another.
Hadith 3993
عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْتَكَفَ فِي قُبَّةٍ مِنْ خُوصٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Laila, he says: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a tent made of palm leaves, observing i'tikaf.
Hadith 3994
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to observe i'tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan, until Allah Almighty caused him (peace and blessings be upon him) to pass away.
Hadith 3995
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْتَكِفُ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وَيَقُولُ: ((الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ)) يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to observe i'tikaf in the last ten days, and he used to say: "Seek the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights."
