Hadith 3770
It is narrated from Sayyida Maymunah bint Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with her), the servant of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that when Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a man who kisses his wife while fasting, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He has indeed broken his fast.
Hadith 3771
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when a young man came and said: O Messenger of Allah! Can I kiss my wife while fasting? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No. Meanwhile, an old man came and asked the same question, whether he could kiss his wife while fasting? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes. Hearing this answer, we looked at each other (in astonishment). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I know why you looked at each other; the matter is that an old man can control himself.
Hadith 3772
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Thalabah bin Su’eer ‘Udhri (may Allah be pleased with him), whose face the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had touched with his hand and who had met many Companions, he says: The Companions used to forbid me from kissing (my wife) out of fear that I might go beyond that to something further, and today’s Muslims (the Tabi’een) also prohibit it (absolutely), and (as evidence) they say that the protection which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had from Allah Almighty is not for anyone else.
