Hadith 3714
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: As long as people hasten to break the fast, the religion will remain dominant; the Jews and Christians delay in breaking the fast.
Hadith 3715
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has said: Among My servants, the most beloved to Me are those who break their fast the earliest.
Hadith 3716
Imam Nafi’ says: Sometimes it would happen that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) would be fasting and he would send me to bring food. The Maghrib adhan and then the iqamah would be called while he was listening, but he would neither leave the food nor hurry. After eating the food calmly, he would go and perform the Maghrib prayer. And he used to say that Allah’s Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the evening meal is presented, do not be hasty.
Hadith 3717
Sayyiduna Salman bin Amir Dhabbi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any of you breaks his fast, he should do so with dates; if dates are not available, then he should break his fast with water, for indeed it is purifying.
