4 hadith
Hadith 3699
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and said: This month has been completed as (29) days.
Hadith 3700
Saeed says: Someone said to Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): O Mother of the Believers! The crescent of this month has appeared on the 29th day. She said: Why are you surprised at this? Of the fasts I kept with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), there were more months of Ramadan with 29 days than those with 30 days.
Hadith 3701
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Of the fasts I kept with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), there were more months of Ramadan with 29 days than those with 30 days.
Hadith 3702
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Two months are never incomplete, each of them contains an Eid; they are Ramadan and Dhul-Hijjah.
