Hadith 3634
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ، انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ، إِلَّا مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except for three: (1) ongoing charity, (2) knowledge from which benefit is derived, and (3) a righteous child who prays for him.
Hadith 3635
عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((أَرْبَعٌ تَجْرِي عَلَيْهِمْ أُجُورُهُمْ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، رَجُلٌ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَرَجُلٌ عَلَّمَ عِلْمًا فَأَجْرُهُ يَجْرِي عَلَيْهِ مَا عُمِلَ بِهِ، وَرَجُلٌ أَجْرَى صَدَقَةً فَأَجْرُهَا يَجْرِي عَلَيْهِ مَا جَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ، وَرَجُلٌ تَرَكَ وَلَدًا صَالِحًا يَدْعُو لَهُ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Four types of people continue to receive reward even after their death: (1) The person who died while guarding in the way of Allah, (2) The person who teaches knowledge to people, so as long as it is acted upon, he will continue to receive reward, (3) The person who gives charity, so as long as people benefit from it, he will continue to receive reward, and (4) The person who leaves behind righteous children who continue to pray for him.
Hadith 3636
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيَرْفَعُ الدَّرَجَةَ لِلْعَبْدِ الصَّالِحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ أَنَّى لِي هَذِهِ؟ فَيَقُولُ: بِاسْتِغْفَارِ وَلَدِكَ لَكَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah Almighty elevates the rank of a righteous servant in Paradise, he will ask: O my Lord! How did I attain this rank? Allah Almighty will say: Because of your son's supplication for your forgiveness.
Hadith 3637
عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ بَنَى بُنْيَانًا مِنْ غَيْرِ ظُلْمٍ وَلَا اعْتِدَاءٍ أَوْ غَرَسَ غَرْسًا فِي غَيْرِ ظُلْمٍ وَلَا اعْتِدَاءٍ، كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرٌ جَارٍ مَا انْتُفِعَ بِهِ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى))
Sayyiduna Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah said: If a person constructs a building without injustice or excess, or plants a tree without injustice or excess, then as long as Allah’s creation continues to benefit from it, he will continue to receive reward.
Hadith 3638
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يُنْعِشُ لِسَانَهُ حَقًّا يُعْمَلُ بِهِ بَعْدِهِ إِلَّا أَجْرَى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرَهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، ثُمَّ وَفَّاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ثَوَابَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ))
Narrated by Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever uses his tongue for such a good deed that continues to be acted upon after him, Allah Almighty will continue to reward him until the Day of Resurrection, and on the Day of Resurrection, He will grant him the full reward.
