Hadith 3599
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever spends a pair of anything from his wealth in the way of Allah, he will be called from the gates of Paradise. Paradise has several gates. Whoever is a person of prayer will be called from the gate of prayer (Bāb al-Ṣalāh); whoever is a person of charity will be called from the gate of charity (Bāb al-Ṣadaqah); whoever is a person of jihad will be called from the gate of jihad (Bāb al-Jihād); and whoever is a person of fasting will be called from the gate of al-Rayyan (Bāb al-Rayyan). Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah, O Messenger of Allah! No one will have any need for anything except that he is called from whichever gate of Paradise he wishes (because the objective is to enter Paradise), but I want to ask: Will there be anyone who will be called from all the gates of Paradise? O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes! And I hope that you will be among them.
Hadith 3600
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever spends a pair of something in the way of Allah, the gatekeepers of Paradise will call out to him: O Muslim! This door is better, come this way.
Hadith 3601
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever among the Muslims spends a pair from his wealth in the way of Allah, the gatekeepers of Paradise will welcome him, and all of them will call him towards themselves. I asked: What does it mean to spend a pair? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: For example, if he owns slaves, then two slaves; if he owns camels, then two camels; and if he owns cows, then two cows.
Hadith 3602
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) that an Ansari came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) carrying a pouch filled with gold, and this pouch filled the man's fist. He came and said: "This pouch is dedicated in the way of Allah." Then Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and also gave something in charity. Then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and gave something as charity. Then the Muhajirun stood up and they also gave charity. Seeing this, the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) shone to such an extent that the signs of radiance were visible on his blessed face. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever initiates a good practice in Islam and then it is acted upon after him, he will have a reward equal to all those who act upon it, while nothing will be diminished from their reward. Similarly, whoever introduces a bad practice in Islam and then it is acted upon after him, he will bear a sin equal to all those who act upon it, while nothing will be diminished from their sins."
Hadith 3603
(Second chain) Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to us and encouraged us to give charity, but the people delayed in giving charity, due to which signs of anger began to appear on the blessed face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then an Ansari came with a pouch and presented it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). After that, people began to give charity one after another, until signs of happiness became apparent on the face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever initiates a good practice, ... ... . A hadith similar to the previous hadith was mentioned.
Hadith 3604
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "Which charity is the best?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "A tent given in the way of Allah for shade, or a servant given in the way of Allah for service, or a she-camel given in the way of Allah."
Hadith 3605
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man gave a she-camel with a bridle in charity in the way of Allah Almighty. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding it: This she-camel will come (on the Day of Judgment) carrying seven hundred she-camels like itself.
