Hadith 3351
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that when they would go towards the graveyard, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach them to recite this supplication: "Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of these dwellings, from among the believers and the Muslims. Indeed, we, if Allah wills, will join you. You have preceded us and we are following after you. And we ask Allah for well-being for us and for you." (O dwellers of these homes, O believers and Muslims! Peace be upon you. We too, if Allah wills, are to meet you. You have gone ahead of us and we are coming after you. We ask Allah for well-being for ourselves and for you.)

Hadith 3353
One day Muhammad bin Qais said: Shall I not narrate to you a hadith from myself and my mother? We thought he meant his real mother, then he said: Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Shall I not narrate to you an incident of myself and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? I said: Yes, why not. Then she said: When it was my night in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was with me, after ‘Isha he returned, placed his cloak, took off his shoes and put them at the foot of the bed, spread part of his cloak on the bed and lay down. He (peace and blessings be upon him) lay for a while, (as I thought) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) thought I had fallen asleep, he gently picked up his cloak, quietly put on his shoes, opened the door and went out, and softly closed it. Meanwhile, I also gathered my scarf, put it on my head, wrapped myself in my cloak, put on my trousers, and followed behind him. I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had reached the Baqi’ graveyard, stood there for a long time and raised his hands in supplication three times. Afterwards, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned and I also started to return. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) walked quickly, so I also quickened my pace. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) ran a little, I also started running. Then when he (peace and blessings be upon him) became even faster, I also became faster and overtook him and reached home, and had just lain down when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also arrived and said: Aisha! What is the matter, your breath is heavy, your stomach is rising? I said: O Messenger of Allah! Nothing is the matter. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You tell me yourself, otherwise the All-Seeing and All-Aware Lord will inform me. I said: O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, then I narrated the whole incident to you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The dark figure I saw before me, was that you? I said: Yes. Hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) struck me on my back, which caused me pain, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Did you think that Allah and His Messenger would wrong you? Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: People may hide as much as they want, but Allah knows it anyway. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes, the matter was that when you saw me, at that time Jibreel (peace be upon him) came and called me, and kept his voice hidden from you, I also replied to him keeping my voice hidden from you. He could not come to you at that time because you had removed your clothes, and I thought you had fallen asleep and it was not appropriate to wake you, lest you be disturbed alone. Jibreel (peace be upon him) said to me: Your Lord commands you to go to the people of Baqi’ and pray for their forgiveness (that is why I went). Then Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I asked: O Messenger of Allah! How should I pray? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You should say:
(Peace be upon the inhabitants of these dwellings from among the believers and Muslims, and may Allah have mercy on those of us who have gone before and those who come later, and indeed, if Allah wills, we too shall join them.)

Hadith 3354
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: One night the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) got up and left. I thought that he (peace and blessings be upon him) was going to another wife, so I also followed behind him. But I saw that he (peace and blessings be upon him) went to the graveyard and (while supplicating) said: "Peace be upon you, O abode of a believing people! You have preceded us, and we are to join you. O Allah! Do not deprive us of their reward and do not put us to trial after them." (O believers of this abode! Peace be upon you, you have gone ahead of us and we are also to join you. O Allah! Do not deprive us of their reward and do not put us to trial after them.) Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) turned towards me and, seeing me, said: "May she perish! If she had the strength, she would not have done this."

Hadith 3355
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that on the day of Badr, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood by the well (in which the slain disbelievers were thrown) and said: O so-and-so! O so-and-so! Did you find true what your Lord had promised you? Beware! By Allah, these people are hearing my words at this moment. But Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: May Allah have mercy on Abu Abdur Rahman, he has forgotten, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had actually said that now they know that what I used to say to them was the truth. Because Allah the Exalted has said: Surely, you cannot make the dead hear . And He also said: Nor can you make those hear who are in the graves .
