Fath al-Rabbani
أبواب صلاة الجنازةChapters on Funeral Prayer
فَضْلٌ مِنْهُ مَا جَاءَ فِي لَعْنِ زَائِرَاتِ الْقُبُورِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْمُتَّخِذِينَ عَلَيْهَا الْمَسَاجِدَ وَالسَّرْجُ
Section on what is reported regarding the curse of women visiting graves and those who take mosques and lamps over them
Hadith 3348
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَائِرَاتِ الْقُبُورِ وَالْمُتَّخِذِينَ عَلَيْهَا الْمَسَاجِدَ وَالسُّرُجَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) cursed the women who visit graves, those who make graves places of prostration, and those who light lamps upon graves.
Hadith 3349
عَنْ حَسَّانِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَوَّارَاتِ الْقُبُورِ
Sayyiduna Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed women who frequently visit graves.
Hadith 3350
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَنَ زَوَّارَاتِ الْقُبُورِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed women who frequently visit graves.
