Hadith 3151
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for his son Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), who passed away at the age of sixteen months. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said regarding him that there are (women) in Paradise who will complete his nursing, (this is my son) a Siddiq (truthful one).
Hadith 3152
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The funeral prayer should be offered for a prematurely born, incomplete child, and forgiveness and mercy should be supplicated for his parents.
Hadith 3153
Isma'il Sadi says: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed the funeral prayer for his son Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him)? He said, I do not know. May Allah's mercy be upon Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him); if he had lived, he would have been a truthful prophet.
