Hadith 3143
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Malik bin Hubayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a believer passes away and a group of Muslims comprising three rows offers his funeral prayer, he will be forgiven. This is why, when Sayyiduna Malik bin Hubayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw that the number of people at a funeral was small, he would arrange them into three rows.
Hadith 3144

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a Muslim passes away and a congregation of one hundred people offers the funeral prayer for him and intercedes for him, their intercession will be accepted.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a Muslim passes away and forty men who do not associate anything with Allah stand for his funeral, Allah accepts their intercession on his behalf.
Hadith 3147
It is narrated from Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a community prays the funeral prayer for a Muslim, their intercession is accepted on his behalf.
